Our Planet Matters is the promotional initiative by Humenhoid and activist Megan McMorrel to carry out an awareness campaign dedicated to World Environment Day and World Oceans Day 2020.

“Climate change is an emergency that affects everyone. Pollution, fires, deforestation, endangered species, pandemics: our uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources has caused an unsustainable impact for the entire planet. We must stop. It is time to consider environmental sustainability as the priority requirement for the economic, technological and social development of our cities of the future. Our planet is our home. Nature is part of us. We must act now. We will not have a second chance. Our small initiative, Our Planet Matters, wants to celebrate the commitment and values that unite our communities, emphasizing our daily mission to promote a sustainable lifestyle while respecting the natural balance of our beloved Earth. We act, united, now.” — Megan McMorrel
